Key Largo
Key Largo is home to groundbreaking ecological projects including coral growth research and rehabilitation.
The efforts to cultivate coral nurseries have fostered some of the world’s most successful outplanting efforts while leading in the preservation of genetic diversity of critical endangered species of coral.
This guided scuba diving expedition affords you the opportunity to handle these live animals (threatened under the Endangered Species Act), in an effort to promote their rehabilitation. You will experience first-hand, the field work of scientists and explorers who are making history while you assist in restoring the coral reefs.
Learn, Dive, Restore.
