Vacations are fun adventures.

Expeditions are rewarding experiences that will change your life – and in this case, the world.

What You Will Gain

On this coral restoration expedition, you will gain the knowledge of the state of our oceans’ reefs as well as the causes which led to the decline of coral populations around the world. Certified Divers will have the option of becoming a Certified Coral Restoration Specialist with PADI’s Distinctive Specialty.

Expedition guests will have the opportunity to see first-hand, how the decline of corals looks and affects plant and animal habitat on Florida’s shallow reef system. Divers will learn the methods in which the Coral Restoration Foundation is battling (and winning) the fight in our oceans, as well as see for yourself, the progress which is being made. Lastly, diver will have guided access to CRF’s underwater scientific laboratory and nursery to see how these successes are being developed.

Fine tune buoyancy skills and increase diving ability with task-oriented challenges. Gain experience and knowledge unlike any other dive trip you’ve taken.

Key Largo FLorida

Key Largo

Key Largo is home to groundbreaking ecological projects including coral growth research and rehabilitation.

The efforts to cultivate coral nurseries have fostered some of the world’s most successful outplanting efforts while leading in the preservation of genetic diversity of critical endangered species of coral.

This guided scuba diving expedition affords you the opportunity to handle these live animals (threatened under the Endangered Species Act), in an effort to promote their rehabilitation. You will experience first-hand, the field work of scientists and explorers who are making history while you assist in restoring the coral reefs.

Learn, Dive, Restore.
